News about the extension of the ENEMLOS project

We are pleased to circulate the news that the donor, the Erasmus + Programme, has accepted the request of the coordinator, the Faculty of Law, University of Montenegro and extended the project.

Report on ENEMLOS Trainings

1. The first ENEMLOS training for clinical work was organized from 7th to 9th December 2020 for representatives of partner institutions from Montenegro and from 14th to 16th December 2020 for Kosovo partner institutions. The training was performed by professors and students of the Faculty of Law of the University of Zagreb, headed by Prof. Dr. Alan Uzelac.

Held presentation regarding the synergy effects of Erasmus + projects

The presentation on "Synergy effects of Erasmus+ projects for better cooperation with the business sector" was organized by the Chamber of Commerce of Montenegro in cooperation with the National Erasmus+ Office on December 9, 2021. At the invitation of the ENEMLOS project coordinator, the presentation was attended on behalf of the Bar Chamber of Montenegro by the Project manager, Dr. Nina Radulović.

Periodic ad hoc report on the implementation of the ENEMLOS project

In order to submit the Request for extension of the ENEMLOS project sent by the Project coordinator, Faculty of Law, University of Montenegro, towards the donor, Erasmus + Programme, it was necessary to submit an ad hoc Activity and Financial Report.

Study visit to the Legal Clinic of the University of Zagreb

A delegation of national partners of the ENEMLOS project from Montenegro visited the Legal Clinic of the University of Zagreb from October 20 to 22, 2021. The Bar Chamber of Montenegro was represented by the Project Manager Dr Nina Radulović and the Quality Manager Maja Živković.

Presentation of the ENEMLOS project at the JUSTICE FAIR 2021

The Bar Chamber of Montenegro realized the first JUSTICE FAIR on October 8, 2021 in the renowned shopping center "Delta City" in Podgorica. It is an independent pilot project of the Bar Chamber which goal is the affirmation of law, legal professions and the rule of law, but the opportunity was also used to promote the ENEMLOS project.

On October 11, 2021, the National Partners in Montenegro received the “Project Implementation Report - Comments and Recommendations” from the Erasmus + donor dated on October 8, 2021.

Feedback from the advisory first monitoring visit of the Erasmus + to the ENEMLOS project

The national partners of the ENEMLOS project in Montenegro received Recommendations for its improvement from Erasmus + donors on July 30, 2021 in the form of a direct e-mail from the Head of the Erasmus+ Program Office in Montenegro, Ms. Vanja Drljević.

Project Manager dr Nina Radulović prepared and sent to the Project Coordinator, the Faculty of Law of the University of Montenegro, a Semi-Annual Report (Activity Report and Financial Report) for the ENEMLOS project, regarding the participation of the Bar Chamber of Montenegro on June 27, 2021.

Monitoring of ENEMLOS

ERASMUS+ office in Podgorica held a project monitoring of ENEMLOS on June 24, 2021. The monitoring was attended by representatives of the Faculty of Law of the University of Montenegro, as well as representatives of non-academic partners in Montenegro, including Bar Chamber of Montenegro represented by the Project Manager Dr Nina Radulović.

GREEN LEGAL AID - Preparatory meeting with representatives of the non-governmental sector

On Friday, May 7, 2021, starting at 2.00 p.m., Manager of the ENEMLOS project for the Bar Chamber of Montenegro (BCM), Dr Nina Radulovic, held a meeting with representatives of the NGO sector working in the field of environmental protection and animal rights through the online Zoom application, relating to the initiative "GREEN LEGAL ASSISTANCE” (GLA).

Announcement: ENEMLOS IT training on April 26, 2021

Certain activities within the implementation of the ENEMLOS project, especially communication with students, will take place through IT platforms, so that it is necessary to train all those who will take an active part in the work of the clinic regarding the use of likewise platforms. Therefore, within the ENEMLOS project, a training is scheduled on new hardware and software solutions (smart board, platforms Zoom, Moodle, Big Blue Button and others), which will be used in working with students and vulnerable groups when the legal clinic starts working.

Meeting of national non-academic partners

On Friday, April 2, 2021, starting at 1 p.m., a meeting of the project management team from the Faculty of Law of UoM was held with representatives of non-academic partners from Montenegro. The meeting was held via the Zoom online application. The meeting attended, on behalf of the Bar Chamber of Montenegro, the Project Manager, Dr. Nina Radulović.

Announcement: The second ENEMLOS training to be realized in cooperation with the Polish partner on March 22, 24 and 26, 2021.

The Polish Legal Clinics Foundation, as a partner institution, in cooperation with the Faculty of Law of the University of Montenegro will hold the second training on the work of legal clinics envisaged by the ENEMLOS project.

GREEN LEGAL AID INITIATIVE

Bearing in mind the unfortunate events that upset the national public at the beginning of 2021 and attracted the media attention, related to endangering of the environment and animal welfare, the Bar Chamber of Montenegro launched an initiative to upgrade the ENEMLOS project by introducing a legal clinic for Environmental Law that would promote "GREEN LEGAL AID", i.e. legal assistance to the non-governmental sector operating in the field of nature protection and animal welfare.

Annual report on the implementation of the ENEMLOS project for 2020

According to the rules of the Erasmus+ program, partner institutions participating in the supported projects, including ENEMLOS, should submit an Annual Implementation Report in the first quarter of the current year for the preceding year. The report consists from two parts, i.e. the Activity Report and the Financial Report, which is filled in a predefined form. the Annual Report, with accompanying documentation as evidence of the implemented activities and the reasons for spending the allocated project funds, is via the Project coordinator submitted to the donor, i.e. the Erasmus + program.

ENEMLOS trainings held in December 2020

The ENEMLOS project (Legal Clinics in the Service of Vulnerable Groups: Increasing the Employability of Law Students through Practical Education), in addition to its main goal and activities related to the introduction of practical teaching in the higher education system, provides training for academic and non-academic partners from Montenegro and Kosovo who are starting to get acquainted with the concept and manner of work and functioning of legal clinics.

Publication “LEGAL CLINIC, ABSTRACT OF THE TRAINING ZAGREB ONLINE DECEMBER 7-9, 2020” has been released

The publication has been created out of desire and intention of the writer dr Nina Radulović to provide a permanent record of the professional presentations and demonstrations of educators offered at the training Zagreb online, held from 7 to 9 December 2020 through a web platform, as a part of the ENEMLOS project implementation.

Virtual meeting of the Quality Control Board of the ENEMLOS project for 2020

Virtual annual meeting of the Quality Control Board of the ENEMLOS project for 2020 was held via Zoom application on December 18, 2020 (from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.). On behalf of the Bar Chamber of Montenegro (BCM) the meeting was attended by the Quality manager Maja Živković.

Evaluation of ENEMLOS training Zagreb on-line 7-9.12.2020. Mr.

In the training Zagreb online held on December 7-9, 2020. participated in total 12 attorneys at law. Thus, the response to the training invitation was significantly lower than announced, given that 22 attorneys at law initially registered for the training. Lawyers attended certain segments of the training at their own discretion, as agreed with the organizer.

Via Zoom application, on December 11, 2020 (from 11 a.m. to 15 p.m.) was held the annual meeting of the Management Board of the ENEMLOS project, which was attended by the Project manager, Dr. Nina Radulović, acting on behalf of the Bar Chamber of Montenegro (BCM).

The Bar Chamber is considering an ENEMLOS implementation model with the Supreme Court

In the premises of the Supreme Court of Montenegro, on November 26, 2020, consultations were held on the ENEMLOS implementation model between the representatives of the Bar Chamber, project manager dr Nina Radulović and Secretary Ivana Aničić, and the Secretary of the Supreme Court, Ksenija Jovićević M.A. with an associate, that leads the project implementation on behalf of the Supreme Court.

Possibilities for the implementation of ENEMLOS discussed with the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica

The project director, Dr. Nina Radulović, on Friday, November 13, 2020. had a discussion with the Deputy Head of the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica, Mr. Miroslav Turković regarding the modalities of implementation and cooperation on the ENEMLOS project. The discussion was conducted via a web application due to precaution related to the Corona virus pandemic.

Invitation for training for the work at the Legal Clinic, Zagreb on-line, 7-9.12.2020.

Respected colleagues,
The dynamics of the implementation activities related to the ENEMLOS project has slowed down due to the circumstances caused by the Corona virus pandemic. However, in the current situation, the Faculty of Law of the UoM and the Bar Chamber of Montenegro are putting the best efforts to adjustthe implementation to the existing conditions.

Dialogue of the BC’s ENEMLOS team with the acting head of the Higher State Prosecutor’s Office in Podgorica

The project manager of the ENEMLOS project, Dr. Nina Radulović, with the secretary Ivana Aničić, were hosted by the acting head of the Higher State Prosecutor’s Office in Podgorica, Ms. Lepa Medenica, on October 8 this year. The meeting was held on the subject matter of the mechanism of implementation of the ENEMLOS project in relation to the engagement of lawyers for official defenses according to national regulations.

As a part of the activities for the implementation of the „Enemlos“, project, the President of the Basic Court in Podgorica, Ms. Željka Jovović, received members of the BC’s ENEMLOS team, the project manager Dr. Nina Radulović and the project secretary Ms. Ivana Anicic, within the premises of the Basic Court in Podgorica.

Information on joining the ENEMLOS Project

The Bar Chamber of Montenegro, appreciating the importance of the development of legal education in Montenegro, at the beginning of the current year accepted the invitation of the Faculty of Law of the University of Montenegro for cooperation and entry to the Project Legal Clinics in the Service of Vulnerable Groups: Increasing the Employability of Law Students through Practical Education - ENEMLOS; i.e. the President of the BCM Zdravko Begović has signed the statement on joining the partnership agreement in March.

KICK OFF MEETING

Kick off meeting of the project: “Legal Clinics for the Service of Vulnerable Groups: Enhancing the Employability of Law Students through Practical Education - ENEMLOS”, took place from 23 to 26 February 2020 in Hotel “Avala”, Budva. The Faculty of Law of the University of Montenegro, which is also the coordinator of the project, hosted this meeting.
