First certificates for work at the Law Clinic
On June 9, 2023 at the Faculty of Law of the University of Montenegro, the first certificates for work at the Law Clinic within the ENEMLOS project were distributed to 72 students who were engaged in working with live clients.
Since the summer semester of 2022, students have helped clients to protect their violated or threatened rights with their legal advice or opinions and the engagement of academic and non-academic mentors. The cases were from different legal fields.
In this way, the goals of the project were realized: the students applied the acquired theoretical knowledge in practice, developed existing and new legal skills and professionalism, improved their creative thinking, and on the other hand provided citizens with free legal advice.
The certificates were distributed by non-academic partners, namely Mrs. Maja Jovanović as the Chief State Prosecutor, Mr. Darko Ćurić as the President of the Chamber of Notaries and Prof. dr. Aneta Spaić, the Dean.
They all delivered suitable speeches, especially the Dean who encouraged the clinicians in terms of professional career development and thanked the present project leaders of the partner non-academic institutions for their cooperation, including dr Nina Radulović as the Project manager on behalf of the Bar Chamber of Montenegro.
